Privacy policy
Effective October 29, 2026
This policy explains what personal information JG Intl Trade LLC ("we", "us") collects through Brand Direct Office, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to meet Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), Canada's PIPEDA and anti-spam law (CASL), and US privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

What we collect
- What you give us: what you type in our forms (for example your name, email, company and message), your account details if you sign up (email and a protected password), and any files or business data you choose to upload or connect.
- What is collected automatically: basic technical data our servers log to keep the site working and secure (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time).
- Cookies: cookies that are needed to run the site (for example to keep you signed in). Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are used only if you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you see no banner, the site does not use analytics cookies.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information, and we do not collect payment card numbers ourselves.
Why we use it
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To create and run your account and the features you use.
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To send you emails you agreed to receive. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand which pages are useful, only if you accepted analytics cookies.
- To meet our legal obligations (for example tax records).
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We do not make decisions about you based only on automated processing.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process information for us under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for our instructions:
- Hosting and databases (for example Google Cloud, Supabase and Railway).
- Email and office tools (for example Google Workspace).
- Google Analytics, only if you click Accept.
- AI providers (for example Anthropic or OpenAI), only when a feature you use needs them. Under their business terms they do not train their models on this data.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to a buyer if our business is sold (the buyer must keep this policy's protections).
Information stored outside Quebec and Canada
Some of these providers store or process information outside Quebec and Canada, mainly in the United States. Information held there is subject to local laws and may be accessed by authorities in that country. Before sending information outside Quebec we assess the risks, and we use providers with written contracts that protect it.
How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account is open. When you close it and ask us, we delete it within 30 days.
- Messages and form requests: up to 3 years, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
- Email list: until you unsubscribe. We keep your address on a do-not-email list so we can respect your choice.
- Records the law requires (for example tax records): as long as the law requires.
How we protect it
Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it, and our accounts use multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.
Privacy incidents: to report a possible privacy or security incident, email sean@resellerengine.io with "Privacy incident" in the subject. We record every incident and, when there is a risk of serious harm, we notify the people affected and Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information (and other regulators where the law requires).
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, get a copy in a common format, withdraw your consent, or ask how it was used and who it was shared with. California residents also have the right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell or share). We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Email sean@resellerengine.io. We answer within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information (cai.gouv.qc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Emails from us
We send marketing emails only to people who agreed to receive them (or where Canada's anti-spam law allows it). Every email says who sent it, gives our mailing address and has an unsubscribe link. We act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
Age
This site is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account or send us your information. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we did, we delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If the change is important, we will say so on this page or by email before it takes effect.
